Downtown Athletic Club Cities Skylines

This is a 39-story Art-Deco building located in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It was completed in 1930. Designed as a skyscraper-sized gym it contained many different sports facilties such as swimming pool, gymnasium, bowling alleys, miniature golf course, squash and tennis courts, as well as dining rooms and living quarters. It was permanently closed in 2002 and reopened as a luxury residential tower named The Downtown Club.

About this building:

This is a very tall and slender building with a rather small footprint. There are some nice looking decorative metal panels and the shape of the building is quite intricate with lots of setbacks, cornices and terraces. The floor heights are inconsistent there and I didn’t manage to recreate them well, but I don’t think that makes it any worse.

All props are optional. You can easily convert this building to RICO if you wish. I didn’t make it residential because the noise pollution is scary in this game, especially in the city center, so it’s up to you. Also you can change the color scheme using Repaint.
